  2.                                CardShark-Hearts

  4. CardShark-Hearts lets you play Hearts against three computer hands. Features
  5. include an AutoPlay/Hint mode, Show All Hands, automatic cash-in when one hand
  6. has all high cards remaining or when all points are in, and the ability to
  7. change your mind after selecting a card but before playing it. New features
  8. include digitized sounds and user-selectable (or random) playing styles.

  10. CardShark-Hearts has been tested (in a special solo version that is available
  11. to registered users) against several other computer Hearts games and defeats
  12. them all easily. This is one Hearts game you will have a tough time beating.
  13. Requires a mouse.

  15. To install CardShark-Hearts, move the cursor to the filename on the line below
  16. and press Enter. When prompted for the name of a directory, you many enter an
  17. existing or non-existing directory. If non-existing, the installation program
  18. will create it for you. Be sure to read CSHEARTS.DOC.

  22. Because of the large amount of disk space required by sound files, only one
  23. sample of each sound type has been included on this disk. These get boring
  24. pretty quickly. The full set of over 50 sound files is very entertaining. If
  25. you did not get the four-disk CardShark Sounds set, see the documentation for
  26. ordering information.

  28. Many Windows 3 applications require VBRUN100.DLL, so you may already have it
  29. on your system. Because of space limitations, we have not included it on this
  30. disk. If you do not have it, you can download it from many bbs's, including
  31. CompuServe (GO MSBASIC, go to LIB-5 and BRO VBRUN*.*) or you can send $2 to
  32. Nelson Ford, P.O.Box 35705, Houston, TX 77235-5705 and ask for a disk with
  33. VBRUN on it (please specify disk size).

  37. Also on this disk is a program for changing the wallpaper in Windows 3.1.
  38. You can change paper manually (much easier than using Control Panel) or
  39. set a time to change it automatically. This is a free program. Feel free to
  40. share it with others.
